United Volunteer Philanthropist

United Volunteer Philanthropist

Volunteering and Philanthropy are synonymous. They are connected by a single term 'giving'. A volunteer is a socially conscious person who gives of their time, effort, skills, and experience to help those in need. A Philanthropist is a socially conscious person who uses their financial wealth to help those in need. Together they are the heart that beats life into our marginalized communities. Without them society would fall apart. Fund My Honorarium (fmh) understands this, which is why we've consolidated the two functions into one and coined the term as Volunteer Philanthropist. Anyone who desires can use FMH platform to begin their volunteer philanthropy journey.

Student Volunteer Philanthropist (SVP) - What are they?

An SVP is a socially conscious person, family, team, or group who has committed to give of themselves to help sustain broken communities. They donate their time, effort, and skills willingly and at times reluctantly for the benefits of others. SVPs also raise funds for their honorarium to invest back into underserved communities. Their honorarium is used to create economic growth for disadvantaged small businesses, aid underprivileged students with financial relief to help achieve their educational goals, all while addressing important social causes their passionate about. This is a Student Volunteer Philanthropist.
